Confessions of a Bespoke Tailor

The business of bespoke tailoring is versatile and constantly growing and changing. Our tailors work with clients of all different shapes and sizes in a number of different industries. Not only is the clothing itself customised to each client, but the entire experience also varies per client. Although we have a physical showroom in Alderley Edge, our tailors spend most of their time outside of the showroom meeting clients wherever they request: homes, offices, hotels and even palaces. Every client is unique and deserves an experience completely tailored to their schedule and surroundings.

Back in 2015, Manchester Evening News interviewed one of our tailors, Carl Emery, on everything from clients to undesirable suit requests. It’s a fascinating piece that takes a peek inside the world of tailoring.
